Common Plumbing Problems in The Home And What To Do About Them

When you have a dripping tap in your home you might go ballistic but there is no need to and here is why. To start fixing your dripping tap problem, turn off the main water supply to the home. If you don't know where the main water supply is at you can get the advice from a Michigan trained plumber to help you out.

Put the plug in to make sure nothing falls down the waste pipe because that can cause more issues and possibly more work. After putting the plug in the drain take the top of the tap. Wrap a tea towel around the body of the tap.

Unscrew the large brass nut with a wrench. Remove the washer with a screwdriver. Push the new washer into place. screw the new headgear on to the tap but don't tighten it to hard, put a new tap top on and than turn the water back on and look for any drips.

If your toilet is draining slow you may want to  invest in a toilet plunger or call a Michigan drain expert if the plunger don't work.
