Don't Wake Up To Frozen Pipes

Frozen pipes can be a real hassle but making them warm with toilets might save you a few dollars with winter under the sink. It’s true did you know that most plumber will give you the advice of wrapping  your pipes in towels to keep them warm.
Now that its getting down to 9 degrees people are calling plumbers left and right because of frozen pipes in their house.

There are a few things that you can do to help save you the time of having to deal with a plumber besides the towels, plus that might not always work but here are more ideas.

1.       Run your faucet for like 15 minutes before you go to bed
2.       Open up the cabinets underneath the sink so that the heat hits the pipes.

Doing those two things can help keep your pipes at room temperature. Because you don’t want any puddles under your sink that can become an issue if not taken care of in a timely fashion and believe it or not you may have rotting wood.

Any water damage in the home needs to be taken care of at the root of the problem. No one wants to have water in their home with no way of getting it out that’s why waterproofing is a good idea.
